Kosmode Health, a deep-tech spin-off from Food Science Technology Department of the National University of Singapore, is a business enabler that repurposes food processing wastes for human nutrition and human health. Proteins extracted from Food Processing Wastes are formulated into functional food for Glycemic control in the Agrifood industry and into 3D Plant Protein Scaffolds/Microcarriers in the Biomedical industry. Within the cellular agriculture sector, the potential of EHDJ 3D printed Prolamine scaffold was demonstrated with the cultivation of porcine tissue and published in Advanced Materials in 2022.
